Ramble Summary

Al Wakrah offers some interesting habitats for the waders and for the passerines. Many birds can be seen by the small mangrove, especially when they can take advantage of the low tide. The nearby park can also surprise us with many birds.

Date: Friday, January 22sd -
Gathering Time and Place: 1pm (meeting place to be confirm on registration
Duration: Approx +4 hours

Ramble Summary

We’re planning an exciting hiking trip in the Al Karrarah jebels. We’ll park our cars at the foot of the hills, so no need for 4x4. Sedans are fine.

If the weather permits, it should be a fun afternoon walking in the hills and discovering the winter desert. The geological features, with escarpments and pebbles are beautiful. As usual, we’ll be on the lookout for signs of wildlife.
The loop should be about 5-6 km at a slow pace.
