Trip Summary:

As the tide goes out in the afternoon, we will be able to explore the beach walking deeper and deeper. We expect to see many shore birds gathered to catch prey as the tide recedes. We will also comb the beach for sea-shells – and discuss how the sea shells are classified. We will always be on the lookout for interesting trails in the sand.

Members can take this opportunity to renew their membership by bringing cash payments (Single membership is QAR 75 and family membership is QAR 150 per annum). Trip Leader - Omar Bin Abdul Aziz Bio

A birding enthusiast by day, an astronomer by night and an engineer in between. Behind me are hundreds of pinhole projections of the eclipsed sun from Doha earlier in 2020. I'm proud to live with my 8 inch telescope, a bunch of cameras, a bicycle and three daughters!
