Friday, February 17th 2023
Gathering Place and Time: We will meet up at Bidda Park at 02:30pm. Meetup location will be shared with confirmed participants.
Duration: 3 hours
Trip Leaders & Coordinators: Omar Bin Abdul Aziz,
Registration is mandatory. This event is open to all present and past members as our registration process is still on. However priority will be given to present members. Members can take this opportunity to renew their membership by bringing cash payments (Single membership is QAR 75 and family membership is QAR 150 per annum).
Can you tell a simple leaf from a compound leaf? Whats a bipinnate leaf? Why do leaves change colors in autumn?
We will meetup at Bidda park and make our way through the park, exploring and discussing all these and other things. We will not leave any leaf unturned in our quest to know more about them!
Young are encouraged to bring a pencil and pad so that they can draw/trace the shape of fallen leaves (We will not pluck any leaves for this purpose).
Please note that photography with hand-held cameras is not allowed at Bidda Park. You can take photos with your mobile phones only.
