Driving in the desert is a key part of enjoying the outdoors and exploring the nature and history of Qatar.  Many of our rambles involve travelling to remote and off-road areas of Qatar.

This event, kindly hosted by experienced off-road driver and marshal Caleb Ruth, will provide practical advice and instruction on the basics of driving safely and responsibly in sand dunes and mixed terrain, including equipment, driving techniques and recovery.

Caleb, supported by John Conti, another experienced off-roader, will guide us through the theory and practice of driving in sand, minimizing environmental impact, and enjoying safe and responsible off-road excursions.
