September Rambles: Birding Trips

The government has started the 3rd Phase of easing the restrictions., and it’s now possible to have small group outings, respecting the social distancing measures.

We’re therefore very happy to propose a few events to enjoy the outdoors.

  • Masks and Ethiraz app will be mandatory.
  • Due to the circumstances, we won’t promote carpooling, nor potluck
  • Registration is required since we have a limited number of participants.

As we get ready for the new season, we have decided to take advantage of the ongoing fall migration, and suggest two birding trips.

Omar Aziz, one of our new ramble coordinators, will be happy to take your registration at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please mention the number of participants and your phone number.

4x4 is not necessary. You’d need binoculars, a birding book or app and your camera.

** Al Wakrah Sunrise – Friday, September, 25th

Meeting time : 5:15 am - Duration : 2h 00 minimum, but you can leave at your convenience.

Detailed location: Shared upon registration

** Education City Golf Course – Wednesday, September 30th

Meeting time: 5:45 am – Duration 1h30

Detailed location: Shared upon registration

I hope that you’ll be able to join us.

Further announcements about our October program and registration for membership to follow soon.

Best regards,
