 Dear QNHG friends,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 season !

As we witness the final stages of the preparation of the World Cup, QNHG is glad to resume its activities. We are planning for another season full of outings and discoveries. We have plans for some workshops, and we look forward to extending our collaboration with a few institutions.

Last year, cooperation on the Turtle Nesting Program with the Children’s Museum and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change was successful. And we are grateful to our members who contributed their time to volunteer at the nesting site in Fuwairit.

Since travel is back to normal, we’re hoping to plan for an overseas trip in the region. A weekend? To Oman ? To Saudi ?… Your suggestions are always welcome… We’re happy to hear your ideas about outings, collaborations, speakers, topics, etc… Feel free to get in touch with the committee.

However, there are still a few uncertainties about the restrictions that could be implemented due to the World Cup. Therefore we might need to take a break during the tournament. But we remain hopeful and we will keep you updated.

As always, we count on your support throughout the season. The Steering Committee is looking for volunteers to fill some positions to keep our group functional.  If you are interested drop me a line via an This email address is being protected from spambots.
