Ramble Summary
As the temperatures start to rise in their breeding grounds, millions of birds start their journey home from the south. In between they make landfall at various places including Qatar to refuel and rest. Spring migration is indeed a truly amazing experience. Every week, you would see different type of birds around you. Once the migration is over, the land and sea around us will be void of these birds – but you, will bear witness to the migration and make plans to welcome them again in the fall.

A birding enthusiast by day, an astronomer by night and an engineer in between. Behind me are hundreds of pinhole projections of the eclipsed sun from Doha earlier in 2020. I’m proud to live with my 8 inch telescope, a bunch of cameras, a bicycle and three daughters!
