Ramble Summary
Geminids is one of the most prolific meteor showers of the year. This year, we will miss most of the meteors due to a bright moon throughout the night. However, we will still be able to see some bright ones. We have planned a camping trip to enjoy the meteors, full moon and desert December!

A birding enthusiast by day, an astronomer by night and an engineer in between. Behind me are hundreds of pinhole projections of the eclipsed sun from Doha earlier in 2020. I’m proud to live with my 8 inch telescope, a bunch of cameras, a bicycle and three daughters!
What to bring?

- Sun Protection: sun glasses, hat & sunscreen
- Beach shoes
- Camera, Binoculars
- Camping gear including tent, bedding, red lights, etc.
