Trip Registration
Registration is mandatory. This event is open to all present and past members. The entrance fee for the center is QAR 50/- for adults and QAR 30 for children between 5 & 12 years. There is no entrance fee for children under 5 years of age. All payments to be done directly at the ticket office on the day of the trip.
Please note that seats are limited and we must provide a confirm number of participants to the administration at Hamad Port Visitor Center by 1st June 2024.

QNHG has organized a guided tour to Hamad Port Visitor Center.
Unique in design, Hamad Port Visitors Center is purpose-built to showcase the maritime history and achievements of Qatar. The center includes a maritime museum, a 4D cinema, virtual simulators, auditorium, a kids play area and an oceanic aquarium, the first of its kind in Qatar

A birding enthusiast by day, an astronomer by night and an engineer in between. Behind me are hundreds of pinhole projections of the eclipsed sun from Doha earlier in 2020. I’m proud to live with my 8 inch telescope, a bunch of cameras, a bicycle and three daughters!
What to bring?
Since this is an in-door visit, there are no particular requirements on what you should bring along.

Children are welcome to join our activities, but should remain under parents supervision.
